Needs bass but overall it’s amazing Jason should’ve gotten the opportunity to be in this album he is but he isn’t….

This is literally the best music I ever have and will here.

You can hear the bass to a point in the songs but turning it down in recording was a whole band choice! This album is great & the best album this band ever did!

This album, despite the missing bass is perfect. One of my favorite songs ever, Blackened, is my favorite track of the album. The sound really keep the vibe of the lyrics and song writing. One was the first ever Metallica song I listened too. Even though at first I didn’t understand it, it soon became one of my favorite songs! And it still is. A 10/10 album, 5th favorite Metallica album. MY RANKING 1. Blackened 2. One 3. …And Justice For All 4. Dyers Eve 5. Harvester of Sorrow 6. The Shortest Straw 7. Eye Of The Beholder 8. The Frayed Ends Of Sanity 9. To Live Is To Die

It seems that everyone is a “no bass“ expert these days. (Listening to too many YouTube reviewers.) I was just out of college when justice came out in 1988, and I don’t recall anyone in those days complaining about the bass or lack there of.
  • Improved Sound Quality.

An all-time great metal album, but plagued by horrible sound quality. This remaster is an improvement, but not enough. They need to re-record this album from scratch. Note-for-note like Taylor Swift is doing. It’s the only way to do (ahem) … justice to this album.
  • Pretty solid album

Kind of a hot take, but it’s just a little bit overrated. The guitar sound isn’t the best, and there’s a handful of forgettable songs on this album. But the highs of Justice, are really really high. One is arguably the best Metallica power ballad, blackened is an amazing opener, and dyers eve is a great ending to their 4th LP
