So well done. This album has earned a regular rotation in my home over the Christmas season (and let’s honest, sometimes throughout the year, too). Something really special happens when you combine the Truth with beautiful story-telling and song. This is a lyrical journey, spanning from the Israelites’ enslavement, through Biblical history and genealogies (“Matthew’s Begats” is a mouthful & a hit with my kids) and prophesies about the Messiah, to His birth. This is a celebration of Who we needed, why we needed Him and His humble yet world-changing advent.
