This album is on of my absolute favorites. I find all the songs to be some of her best. "Green Eyed Boy" and "Something Special" are the best songs on here, as they have a cool beat to them. "Teach Me to Trust," "Change," and "No Good Way of Saying Good-Bye" are also excellent because they are beautifully written, and you can hear the pain in Dolly's voice as she sings them, like it's real.

Perhaps the weakest album in Dolly's career catalog. The remakes pale in comparison to the original versions and the newer songs are totally uninspired, with the exception of the album's best moment, Speakin' Of The Devil. Still, it's Dolly, so it can't be that bad.

An OVERLOOKED Treasure!!

This is definately an overlooked album of Dolly Parton's. I believe she wrote some of her most heart breaking songs for this album. The only highlight in the media was the "I Will Always Love You" duet with Vince Gill, which I feel should not have been done as a duet. She also included some re-recorded classics in addition to "I Will Always Love You", like "The Seeker", and "Jolene". I know that she does this because she thinks these songs have a lot of life left in them or that they were not giving a chance at the time because of content. I love the new song because they are so heartfelt or heartbreaking. This is a great album to listen to if you've recently gone through a break-up. "Crippled Bird" and "Change" are so heart wrenching, but I love them everytime. Dolly sang "Something Special" for a friend that was getting married. "Speakin' of the Devil" is a fun song from the made-for-tv movie Wild Texas Wind. "No Good Way of Saying Good-Bye" is a wonderfully written song to listen to during a mourning period. I hope this review has inspiring you to buy it, if not at least give these songs a chance.
