Sounds like a live show played in a studio. Just fantastic musicality throughout although some of the singing could have probably been left out...but this album almost defines its own genre that goes beyond classic new orleans big band into dance and hiphop. Many have tried but this album succeeds entering into the dangerous area of fusion jazz.

Their performance at the rochester Jazz Fest was AMAZING. They coverd "The Sweet Escape" and it was amazing. 5-stars and what a great band.
