There are about 3 good songs on this album, the rest are pretty bad. Not sure what happened but I do hope this is not her future direction.
  • Not what I expected!

I normally love her songs, but I don’t get this album. It seems such a waste of time and talent.

Ashley dear, this is the best thing I've heard in years. Randall is smiling from above and probably having a cold one in that styrofoam cup. Thanks for giving some of your less fortunate song writing friends some much deserved space. Sorry that some here just do not get it. I am adding to my original post on this, the 4th of November. After listening to this album over and over, I have decided "Play Ball" will be song of the year. Thank You for a great one.
  • Normally a fan of hers

This album isn’t it. I hope she goes back to her normal sound.

Listening to this record takes me back in time to my own “Lindeville”. We all have one and it seems like I’ve known every character in Lindeville. Great storytelling and great music!

I’m not really into contemporary country. I hit play because the album cover had an accordion. What a happy accident. Every song politely ends before it wears out it’s welcome. Farcical radio jingles inject humor between the songs. Great voices and stories. The album is more than the sum of its parts, it really feels like a place and time.
