Wasted my money. Should have looked at run time. Seems content of album is misrepresented here.

This Compilation Empowers listeners to not accept the actions being done, but to be empowered to change the things they see as wrong
  • MISREPRESENTATION :(

I'm upset that the content of this speech was slightly misrepresented. I was expecting to hear Dr. King's speech in its entirety (as it is what I was using a resource for my students), however, only part of the speech is in this recording. I believe that if that was stated at the beginning, I wouldn't be upset with my purchase. This was unfair, and you should let buyers know beforehand that only part of the speech is recorded. I believe a refund should be given. Extremely dissatisfied.

I shared this recording with my Cub Scout den of 3rd grade boys on MLK Day. The recording is clear, and also includes the reactions of the listeners on that day on the Mall. This led to a lively discussion of why we have the day off school, etc. Overall, very satisifed with the quality and availability of this speech.
  • Some good choices, but hardly deserving of the title

Rhetoric is an art in rapid decline so the idea here is sound. Roosevelt, King and Churchill were great practicioners of the art and worthy of study. The Kennedys were a step below. Truman and Nixon, not so hot. Reagan was just a bumbling actor.
  • Excelent!

i really respect iTunes for taking the time to put together some of the most inspirational and influential speeches in modern history. hopefully, people of all ages will listen to these and become not only knowledgeable of these time periods and great leaders, but use the words of all of these people to further their intellect. JFK, MLK, Richard Nixon, Harry Truman, FDR, Ronald Reagan, General MacArthur and Winston Churchill have been an influence to so many people, big and small, black and white, young and old....respect them and use their words to your benefit.
