  • A mind expanding journey of starts and stops

I listened to this album a great deal when I was in my early 20s and I loved it because I had never heard anything like it before. One minute you're furrowing your brow and staring at the speaker the next you're on your feet twirling about to the music. A really great album, but expect the unexpected.

Through word of mouth I have stumbled on to this gem of an album. Completely unfamiliar with Ze's work, I was floored the first time I heard it. Compositionally speaking, his works are beautiful examples of "not over-writing." Everything is simple and well thought out, with his soulful lyrics and infectous grooves topping off a perfect musical cocktail of creativity and innovation.
