This was an album that was recommended by the Apple ITunes Genius. Until Genius recommended it, I had never heard of these sisters (strange, since I was originally from Canada and now live and teach in the United States). After repeatedly listening to the tunes preview, I decided to take the plunge. Boy - am I glad that I did. What a wonderful introduction to a musical set of sisters. There are some many great songs on this 3 disc set - Jigsaw Puzzle of Life, Working Song, Heart like a Wheel. Yet, what makes this album so enchanting are the French Canadian (Quebecois) songs. Truly beautiful. For those who love lyrical music that is well sung, get this album. You are in for a treatment. What a shame that I discovered these sister so late -- Kate McGarrigle died in January 2010. What a loss.
