I am very much looking forward to listening to the CD and cannot imagine how I would be disappointed. I recently saw/heard her at the 2014 Sauti za Busara Music Festival (Zanzibar). She was awesome! Her group was very tight and very professional. The harmony between her on the kora and the acoustic guitar player was at times magical. I was reminded of Hejira by Joni Mitchell and would describe her music as African Folk Jazz. She is definitely on my “Buy Without Having Heard” list. Trust me and do the same.

Love the music. I hope she comes to Atlanta to watch her perform. I watch a little history behind her first. Her story is simply amazing. This album is such a release from the commercial garbage on the radio. I love African music!!!!!

I saw Sona interviewed on CNN's Inside Africa and decided to buy this CD. This CD does not disappoint. In fact, she delivers with room to spare. Go on girl!!!!
