These are the Original Drifters and their songs are fabulous. Sure there were the 60's Drifters that recorded Under The Boardwalk, Up On The Roof, etc, but this is The Cream Of The Crop. I love these songs.
  • Amazing. Simply the Best

Fake Drifters? You have got to be kidding me? This is the Cream of the Crop, from the Original, True Drifters - before they were all replaced by The Five Crowns, who were renamed The Drifters and hit it big with Up On the Roof, Boardwalk, etc. Geez, read up some! Anyway, Clyde McPhatter shines brighter than he ever did on songs such as The Way I Feel, Honey Love, and Lucille. Bill Pinkney holds his own with the tear-wrenching ballad, Your Promise To Be Mine, and the classic version of White Christmas. This is an amazing collection that will have you equally dancing and longing for times gone by.
  • This is as good as it gets???

BEST OF without Boardwalk? Without Up On The Roof?? SAD!!! Someone must have stole the rights to these songs and now you can only hear re-makes from the FAKE DRIFTERS!
  • WHITE CHRISTMAS!
