Every song is incredible. Skillfully crafted compositions with killer vocals from a powerful woman. Smooth mixes that build all the way through to some truly phenomenal moments. I had my instant favorites, now I’m basically looping the whole album several times a day… Thank you Buffy!!!

I hadn’t heard of Buffy or her music before listening to Power of the Blood, and I fell in love immediately. This woman’s deep and caring heart expresses powerful truths with strength and the urgency of our moment in time, tempered by generous doses of romance, humor, and the love of all life that only a young at heart grandmother could understand with such depth and compassion. Personal favorites are We Are Circling, Orion, Sing Our Own Song and My Way, but really every song is my favorite when I listen to it. This woman is a rare and important individual that can’t be categorized, and her music is likewise free, adapting to the message and emotion of each song perfectly. Brutally insightful, positive, encouraging and hopeful…think I’ll have to listen to it at least once a day for the rest of my life.

I heard a number of these songs at Buffy’s concert in Albuquerque in Feb. 2015. The re-recorded songs, such as Generations, totally rocked the house (as did every single song!) Buffy is a brilliant song writer and incredible humanitarian. It should come as no surprise that It’s My Way has not lost a note of greatness.
