Truly great album. She has a strong, unique voice, great lyrics and a sound that's at once timeless and modern.

Her voice and song will leave an indelible tan on your arms neck and heart. A lovely soul. SoCheat Menh & Keith Tadlock, Los Angeles.

Love love love her!! If I didn't know better I'd have thought she was singing some of her songs about me...
  • Great "real" country album

Refreshing to hear this honky-tonk style reminiscent of Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette with fantastic lyrics. Most of Nashville's country music of today is pop crappola; unbelievable CMA in Nov. ignored this jewel. Kacey and Margo are the best things to happen to country music in decades. Screw the Nashville music establishment.

I saw Margo last night in DC. Go out of your way to see her. She is "as advertised" just a great show and her band is spot on. I have a feeling that the next time I see her I'll have to add a zero to the ticket price, and I will not feel ripped off. PS- Margo... you're HOT
  • that voice!

She has a voice that will carry you through any hardship you might face. Having just seen her live, this record does not do her justice to how much she is a force of nature. I cannot wait to hear the nex album, hopefully next year.
  • What's all the hype about?

What a let down. I heard a lot of hype about her but really? Yes, she's better than the crappy pop country that rules the music charts but these songs are pretty weak, pretty sell out. Very far from being true classic country. Hopefully her success will allow her the freedom to do some truly authentic country in the future. Listen to Loretta Lynn's new record instead, now that's real country music.

Upon listening to Margo Price the first time, I was reminded of country music from the 70s when I began listening to the genre. At first, it was like listening to Emmylou's 'Pieces Of The Sky'. Then it reminded me of Jeannie Kendall. Then in song choice comparison to classic Patty Loveless. Then it finally hit me...it was Margo Price! Unique and fresh, with a throwback sound that was amazing and comforting. No 'I gotta be top 10' scent to this album. Pure, raw, stark, yet so very inviting. Please give this woman a try. I think you won't be disappointed!
