A great album by the 4 Seasons and as stated an actual live concert recording. All the music is great sounding and in there close to original sound in a live concert setting. You will not be dissapointed with this album. Enjoy and rock out to Frankie Valli and his pleasen Seasons.

A caution…if you are looking for their old hits, don’t buy it. This is a live concert, and their renditions are different from what you will remember.
"Reunited Live" under a different name

Several comments here reflect on the inappropriate title of the album ("20 Greatest Hits" when there are only 15 tracks). There may be no good explanation but I do know that this is a repackaged project: the original album was released in 1981 as "Reunited Live." I-Tunes also has that product, along with a very helpful paragraph commenting on the album. Somewhat ironically, almost all critics complained about the title "Reunited Live" when that 1981 album came out because the group performing the songs was NOT a reunion of the original Four Seasons - it was Frankie Valli & Bob Gaudio with a bunch of other musicians (including Jerry Corbetta of Sugarloaf fame). I guess that somewhere along the line someone decided to re-release the album as "20 Greatest Hits" (an even worse title, given that there are 15 tracks and many of them were not hits). Bottom line: it is a good album if you like this era of the Four Seasons (ventures into disco ["Grease", "Swearin' to God"] and tougher rock ["December 1963", "Who Loves You"]). If you like the 60s pop songs, go for something else.

Saw 'Jersey Boys' and was enthralled with the acting and the music. Decided to check out the originals and was even more impressed. Even after 20 years, this album grabs you. You can always supplement it with medleys from the play but there's nothing like the real deal. Amazing, how 4 kids from New Jersey could make this sound. New Jersey has produced many, many good performers. Recommend buying this album if you are into music from The American Bandstand era. I know I am.
Good music never goes out of style.

Wish instead of the medley's , the full song's would have been better. Polici's voice sounds fantastic live while drumming.Great mix of songs.

Purchased just this one song, but was disappointed it wasn't the original recording. Artists get bored singing their hits the same way every time, so change accenting and speed up and slow down phrases just to entertain themselves, but often the original was the best. I'll be looking for the real one again . . .
Not so much

I bought this version of "Oh What a Night (December 1963)" without comparing it to the other recordings in comparable albums. It just doesn't have the sound quality and clarity of the others. You listen and compare before you buy. I wish I had. The best recording is out there --it just isn't this one.
great albun

It's like it's December of 1963 again, beautiful song. Whatever happened to Frank Valli and the Four Seasons?
