    From the opening lines of the title track you can tell this is something special. As with her other stellar records Luz Elena Mendoza effortlessly alternates between English and Spanish, weaving a rich yet airy song cycle that exudes a joy for life I don't often hear. I love "Ostrich" "Libre" "Kali" and of course the ethereal title track. Their entire catalog is amazing but this is YLB's best album to date. Fans of Astrid Gilberto, Gabi Moreno, Neko Case take note.
