  • I feel like I am in Malibu every time I listen!

I am a dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker, but I lived in LA many years ago, and every time I listen to this album I am transported by to Malibu, lying on the beach, listening to the waves. This entire album is filled with ear worms--you listen to it once, and you will be humming the tunes the rest of the day. Unlike to many albums, this is filled with fantastic songs. Very few artists can produce an album this consistantly good. I love you, Colbie! How about extending your tour to New York? You would be a spot of LA sunshine in the city that never sleeps. Have your agent check out City Winery--it is one of the nicest venues in New York, and you would be perfect for it.
  • Caillat's Best Album Since 'Coco'

Most of us fell in love with Colbie Caillat's music the very first time we heard "Bubbly" from her first album. But that whole album has a warm, relaxed, beach vibe that flows seamlessly through each song. It is an icrdible album. Malibu Sessions pickes up where Coco left off. And we are all better for it! It should come as no surprise that both of Caillat's best albums were completed without a record label. Caillat's albums in between were good, with some incredible singles, but never great. Malibu Sessions is great!

  • Classic Colby but way less interesting.

The same classic sounds Colbie has always done. Yet this time around it feels like it lacks all energy, or any interesting sounds or hooks. This is like leftovers from All Of You.

Colbie has faced criticism from a lot of fans as she headed more into mainstream pop. We miss the Cocoa Colbie very much. I still liked her pop albums including her prior one. Colbie can write a great song in any genre. She is just that talented. But This album is our old Colbie that we have been waiting for for such a long time. This album is amazing and i'm so glad to see the real Colbie back. She's very beautiful and very talented. I really hope this record sells a lot of copies. Don't ever stop making music.

Obviously she made the right decision to start her own label. I was wondering why she changed. Now Coco is back!
