I love this direction for MC Yogi. Some of his earlier work was fun to listen to, but didn't work well to play in my (slow flow) classes.
I'm just wondering about the sound quality on this album- that kind of crackly thing you hear in some of the songs. Is it intentional? Like trying to sound like an old record player? Maybe I'm not hip enough to 'get' it, but I do find it distracting, especially with the quieter songs.

Seriously unreal. I have been so excited about it and it definitely lived up to the hype! Perfect to practice yoga to, meditate to, or just hang out and listen to. Calming, uplifting, centering...kind of the perfect album. Nice job MC Yogi and East Forest!

I am a very big fan of MC Yogi and his music. I own several of his albums, play his music for my yoga classes frequently, and have seen him live twice. So I was surprised when I first heard this album because it is different from his usual style. Unexpected but not disappointing! MC Yogi brings vibrant energy to everything he does but this music feels different (it could be due in part to his collaboration with East Forest). The entire album is soothing, beautiful, and exudes love. It shows another side of MC Yogi and I love it! I highly recommend it!
