I ran rock radio stations for 25 years and have never heard an artist that deserved air time more than Jimmy Thackery. This guy is for REAL!!! Enjoy a pure artist on every song he plays and rejoice in the different styles he brings to the table with ease. I'm a real fan!

I first saw Thackery with the Nighthawks in 1976....well, maybe it was '77....at a small club in Bethesda. He is the quintessential blues guitarist you always wanted to see & hear. If you like superb, unbelievably crisp tone and clean, beautiful and rockin' blues/rock guitar & tight back-up rhythm section...Thackery & the Drivers are where you wanna be! Once you see him live, you'll buy the whole catalog and look for whatever old 'Hawks stuff you can find!!!! He's the "real deal." Just do it, you'll never be the same.....
