It would be hard to pick a favorite recording of Vinnie Colaiuta since virtually everything he plays on stands out to me, but this live recording does feature some of his best fusion performances. If you've only heard him in a studio setting then you're missing out on this side of his playing. Vinnie's incredible chops often defy analysis, but everything he plays sounds amazing and contributes to the overall performance of the band.
