A Greatest Hits Collection

This is a remake. The actual Herman's Hermits band plays without Peter Noone and Peter performs with some hack band he put together. Peter is out doing remakes without the actual Hermits (the original band continued after Peter quit and they preform in the U.K. as Herman's Hermits). And the Hermits are out doing remakes without Peter. Neither one does a very good job of recreating the original sound of when they were together. You need Herman (Peter) and the Hermits (the continuing UK band) to have Herman's Hermits!! Peter apparently stiffed his band mates when they got back together in the seventies. The Hermits didn't trust Peter after that and never wanted to play with him again. There were lawsuits back & forth with the Hermits winning the rights to the Herman's Hermits name. Yet since this was a U.K. court, Peter ignored it the U.S. and continues to use the Herman's Hermits name in the U.S. So sad!! We the fans are the losers here. You need both the Hermits and Herman to get the good music we think we are paying for!!
