Saw them perform last night in NYC- a great show. This album includes jazz versions of great rock songs and really highlights both the individual strengths of the performers and their ability to play as a solid group. No one overshadows anyone else here; its a team effort, and a successful one. Listen to the samples for a taste. You won't be disappointed.

I'm only giving this work 3 stars because at times the tunes seemed to meander aimlessly. All said...Jack DeJohnette never disappoints and he and Scofield are worth the listen!

Comfortable interplay punctuated by risky business. Top notch by guys from whom you expect no less.

Attended their concert last night. Wow!!! Medeski - incredible. I've never heard him sound like this before. They're all at the height of their abilities. 60s Classics wrapped inside forays into outside jazz fusion. At once familiar yet so unique.
