I am a big fan of music from the 20s, 30s, and 40s. There is something very relaxing about them. Especially when they sound as old as they are. Something that obviously Spongebob isn't musically eduacated enough to understand. While other albums have cleaner recordings there is something so classic about the sound of an original recording. Jolson's more famous songs 'My Mammy' and "Toot Toot Tootise' can be found on other albums. Here you get songs that are harder to find. Listen to the 30second clips and decide for yourself. Maybe you too will fall for Al Jolson, like they did back in the 20s when he was one of the most successful performers ever.
