Brandon Williams is not only a stellar drummer/artist in his own right, he’s Detroit made. That should say enough. His previous album was out in 2014. I’ve been anxiously waiting for new music. Even to the point where I’ve contributed to his music fund. Indie artists rock!!
This new song is romantic and sincere. Brian McKnight Jr’s voice is not overbearing at all. You can tell he’s going to take you off into the clouds within the first few notes. “Like taking life’s first breath..” and “You have supplied the spark that’s restarted me. Now I can do anything...”, written so well. 🖤 There will be tons of weddings that need this in the soundtrack. My fav parts are when strings come in, it’s gorgeous.
