Anthem (Original Soundtrack)

This has got to be one of the best composed video game albums ever! While the game is not viewed well by many, I love Anthem and the music that is in this game fits so well with the environment and atmosphere of the game! Can't stop playing the game, and can't stop listening to the soundtrack! 10/10!!!!

This is a great soundtrack and the game is much funner than the voice of the complaining crowd would suggest. It is about as fun of gameplay as I've ever experienced and it will be fun to watch Bioware add new layers to it as the game involves. The music really creates the setting and is so well done. I got the soundtrack before the game and I was delighted in the first intense level to hear the familiar melody from track 3 "The Anthem of Creation" playing in the background (but more intensely). Really excellent music. Of course the song "Valor" is about as good as any video game song since the Mass Effect Trilogy and should not be missed.

Much like her work in Assassin's Creed, her album here is solid--there's a few really outstanding songs, and while the rest aren't bad, they have too much "down time" where nothing dynamic in the music is really happening (even soft and quiet sections should have interesting and dynamic parts). The reason it gets a 4-star rating is because the songs that are good are very unique while the rest are decent; fans of the Halo and Destiny scores will find this soundtrack pretty appealing.

Clearly taking a page from Martin O'Donnell in Halo, but with its own twist that differentiates it. The first two tracks lay out a unique identity for Anthem's music. Shame the rest of it is hit and miss. Shame that Anthem itself is a miss.

I came into Anthem without any prior knowledge, and one of the things that blew me away was the soundtrack. Excellent music design that really fits the theme of the game. 10/10 would recommend
