Gives me chills when I listen to this score. The Chernobyl miniseries is a must watch and the soundtrack is a major part of the series. I love listening to this when I’m reading or running at night...ps I love the memes that came out of this show.
I give this album a rating of 3.6 roentgen

Not great, but not terrible. All joking aside, this album is amazing. What Hildur Gudnadottir does with the music for this television series is like what special effects have done for the horror genre. It is not the imagery of Chernobyl that drives that contaminating dread deep into your core, but rather the haunting notes that Hildur radiates throughout the entire soundtrack. Bravo.
Chilling to the Core

This beautiful yet eerily chilling music is the perfect background score to the true story of Chernobyl. It truly grips your ears and forces you to watch as the horror unfolds.
Stunning

Moody, Tense, Deadly. Hildur's score is unsettling. It never lets you feel at ease throughout the entire limited series. What we know about the incident pales in comparison to what actually happened which was so much worse. Chernobyl is ultimately the story of Russia and the legacy of the Soviet Union, and the darkness that has always, and will always, surround it.
