Anyone who thinks that this song is divisive are the people causing the division. She is singing about her experience as a black woman in a white washed world. Black people and other minorities get it. Sadly, a great percentage of white people don't and never will because they can't relate to what true obstacles and barriers are for others.

Would give zero but not an option. This is just garbage and not helping anything. She has beautiful voice but songs like this does not help anything.

When I heard this it made me wanna cry. Some are saying it’s adding “fuel to the fire” lf you’re caucasin, you will never know the difference or pain. This songs hits close to home for all non-white minorities also. Since this: more cases have happened. I am a “Baby Boomer” I remember the 60s&early70s. This is history repeating itself. Now it’s like walking while Black or Hispanic they will stop you.(This is my personal opinion by being a US Born Citizen&my 1stAmendment rights)

I never been into country music but after hearing this song for the first time and her voice made me give the genre a chance. To be a black woman in country music your a brave, strong female making a change and showing little girls no matter what color you are if you have a talent and a song in your heart you can sing it anyway you feel, hip-hop, R&B, Country, Gospel, or even Rock the doors are open. Keep Singing Mickey!

What rights don’t you have that someone another color has? Just curious… there are still black slaves all over Africa. None here whatsoever. Get an education and get out of country music

Ignorance is bliss when you think the same things are happening to black people - that are happening to Privilege white people. This women is the best thing that happened to country music!
