Vol. 2 killed it. It was nice to here some of the more rocking songs changed to bluegrass. Couldn’t skip a song, loved it all!

Love everything he puts out. I read a review of Vol 1 that bemoaned the fact the players weren't allowed to run free. Sturgill must have read that review, too, b/c, man, do they run free on the first track!
  • He’s the modern day “King of Country”.

I grew up listening to George Strait, but I have always had a passion for music of all genres. There must be something in the water in Kentucky, lately. Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, and Tyler Childers are all contributing to the nostalgia of yesteryear, and reviving the story of what it is like growing up in “The Appalachia Mtns”. East Tennessee is home for me no matter where I may roam.
