Asap Rocky has always been a leader since his entrance in the rap landscape. Here, on this beloved & seminal album Live Love Asap, he picked up where trendsetters like Kanye West left off and elevated hip hop to another level.
This classic mixtape has inspired and served as blueprint for many of today’s rappers for example Travis Scott, Lil Uzi, Playboy Carti etc.
They all have seemingly followed the blueprint set out by the Asap Mob leader.
It is not surprising to see this 10-year old among new releases and easily outshining them.
All the songs are highly recommended but among the highlights are Palace, Peso, Wassup, Brand New Guy, Purple Swag, Keep it G, Houston Old Head and Roll One Up. *****
