I can't believe that I-tunes can't release the only good version, the Original version, of McCrae's Only hit - Rock Your Baby. I too got ripped off buying two re-sung versions. What's with i-tunes, anyway? They are totally destroying their credibility.

i too played every last song offered, and almost thought i had come up with the original tune. then i got confused. then i read the other review and saw that i was not so confused. oh well..... i bought two remixed versions of the song that aren't too bad.
  • WHAT IS THE DEAL HERE?

Listen I just don't understand the what the hell is the deal here with George McCrae & iTunes. No matter how many greatest hits or "special" collections of his that show up on iTunes, the ORIGINAL version of "Rock Your Baby" has yet to be found ANYWHERE, on any of his stuff here on iTunes. Man! I had real high hopes when I saw this newest addition of his on iTunes, so I got excited prematurely, but sadly this, like all of the "Rock Your Baby" songs that you see on his collections here on iTunes are HORRIBLE redone/resung and half assed versions. Hope I don't get into trouble for using that word here, but anyways at least this collection has the decency to tell you it's a re-recording. People, I hate to be mean, but the man had only one major hit, probably in his life that I actually cared about, but nontheless a hit that I loved and had fond memories of, that was part of my youth growing up in the 70's and you can't find room for that on iTunes somewhere? You have to do a gazillion re-recorded versions instead of that song and post it up here instead of just including the original. For what? Revenge of some sort? On who? Hey I don't get it, if you do, post your thoughts up here and let me read em. Don't buy this, please. Later.
