  • Not enough cred given to this guy...

This is pretty chill stuff, which is awesome. I just wish he got more recognition. Anyway, buy the album, tell your friends, then proceed to years of summertime listening pleasure. This guy deserves it.

There are few things as relaxing and pleasant as Jeff Larson's voice. This is one great listen!

Jeff Larson delivers another fine album, arguably his best so far. For those of you who haven't yet discovered this California singer-songwriter, imagine if Gerry Beckley had joined the Beach Boys instead of America. Larson's voice is a cross between Beckley and Carl Wilson, but don't consider him a "B-team" version of anyone. His songwriting, musicianship, and especially his singing are a unique treasure with an honest feel that you don't find in most music these days. Richly produced by Hank Linderman, Larson has some top notch friends sitting in: Jeffrey Foskett (from Brian Wilson's band), Robert Lamm (Chicago), and Dewey Bunnell & Gerry Beckley (America), among others. Pick out virtually any song and you'll be coming back for more. Or better yet, get the whole album.
