Coming out of the gates in their early days this was a special band. I have not been a fan of their music since they became "popular" tho happy for them they are making money. Their best music can be found on Jet Black & Jealous, Level, and Live at the Jolly Fox. If you haven't, check those CDs out. This is the real Eli Young Band for me...

This is not the Eli Young Band I know and love from Denton, TX.
What happened to the great harmonies and melodies that are so great on their previous albums. “Love Ain’t” is the best song and it was left over from their previous albums’ writing sessions. This sounds like today’s typical blah Nashville pop. This barely an album with 30 minutes, 8 songs and an acoustic repeat.
Bring it back to Texas and try again. I know y’all are better than this!

What I love about this band, every song they sing you can understand every word. Love Talking I think is another #1, has a little different feel and sound than others songs of theirs. If you like driving and singing, this ones for you.
