All of the songs are so generic and the same as the one before it that the entire album just sounds like one long single boring song. Feels like they threw this out to milk $ from the “entitled” fans they keep crapping on in interviews. Horrible.

The lyrics and musicianship are both phenomenal. Maybe it’s the kind of album that needs a few listens to truly appreciate; hence some of the negative reviews.

I get it, bands evolve. They grow and change over time. I’m an old man (38) that has been listening to these guys since the beginning. I wish them all the best, but this new direction isn’t for me. I can’t help, but cringe when I listen to the new album. It’s boring, generic and just like so many other bands out there. I miss the blegh! Like I said I before I still support them doing what they want to do, but I can’t listen to it.

I became an Architects fan after their last album, every album they made prior was great too but this one sounds like it was rushed and forced by the label. It’s very boring sadly, hopefully more listens will chamge my opinion…

So i loved their last album because it was a nice change up from their usual formula, its really fun to jam to, and its their best mixed album. The only thing this album has is they kept the good mixing but literally what the heck is sam doing, lyrically and how it’s delivered by sam makes these songs so stale and boring. I never listened to an entire album by one of my favorite bands and thought “there isn’t even a single good chorus or redeemable moment in any of these songs”
