i’m a straight teenaged boy who is getting into a lot of music this year, anything from my bloody valentine to fka twigs to radiohead. i love exploring new genres and seeing what i like, and when this album came up as a suggestion, i was hesitant as i don’t typically enjoy “pop” music, as i find it nerve-grating and the vocals give me a headache. let me tell you, this is one of the most well crafted, unbelievably produced albums i’ve ever heard. caroline has one of the best (if not the best) voices i’ve ever heard. there isn’t one weak song on this album. PLEASE give this project a listen, even if it’s not the genre you usually listen to. you won’t regret it! *if you want suggestions for other experimental/electronic albums i’d recommend vespertine, MAGDALENE and shabrang*

Every song is transcendent and takes you on an other worldly trip….to her island lol but seriously I have had this album on repeat since it’s release. So amazed by everything Caroline does and feel so grateful to witness her art and have the pleasure of enjoying it. Redefining pop music. And her voice???? Insane. An absolute serve.

It’s a deep dive of whimsical, magical, serious, and fun tracks that will get you up. Her siren esc voice and dreamy production creates a whirlwind of strange visceral visuals. I love how Caroline creates a theme in her projects, down to the font on the album cover. She is such a threat in the music industry right now and needs to be taken seriously.
