Highly Disappointed

I’ve never been so viscerally disappointed by a release in my life, there a few bright spots, Selling Faith, Wild Dogs, and maybe Rebels if you squint. I think Queen of New York is a bop.
But I was sick from the song I Know Better, for someone who was gaslit by someone I thought I loved through an 8 years relationship I was getting flashbacks of just these exact words. It was not something I was expecting from my favorite band in the world in fact I deleted this song from my computer and iTunes. I felt disgusted listening to it.
I don’t understand how it made the album and what the motivation was. If I wanted to be gaslit I would go into a right winger, incel chat room. What even is this? I would love to hear an explanation because I’m just devastated by the inclusion of this awful song.

Idk why there are so many people hating on it because they’ve changed their music up a bit lol who cares, there are still several good songs on this album.

Matchbox has been with me thru tough times for sure and this one was exactly what I needed now . Saw them in concert decades ago and seeing them again tonight live . I’m so excited to hear them again and experience the energy ! I dont get the naysayer comments . Obviously they are clueless . I’m so thankful for you guys !

Fresh, catchy and musically satisfying. I saw them in concert recently, and they put on an absolutely great show. They amaze me how well they perform live.

So scared that they’ll never get it back together!!
Some bands:artists transition easier into an easy listening title. To be honest, North wasn’t very good either and the last album of solid stuff came out in 2002. Maybe they should release a live album or two instead!!

The band has mellowed out a bit, perhaps lost a little of the 90’s angst. None the less, this is great album and the songs really pop when they play them live. A great band !
