I’m 11 and in my town there is a public pool and so I went there with my family and met this group of kids who I hung out with and got their numbers. Everything was going good for about a month or so and then we were talking about something and one of them looked traumatized as a joke and I said “Bro I think we traumatized her.” And then one of them said something something blah blah “It’s their last day here” and I broke into a cold sweat and said “What?” I didn’t know their parents were divorced and they had to go live with their abusive father for one year. There dad is such an Insert insult here that he doesn’t let them have their phones with them. So I’m out of contact with them for a year. The day before they left I texted one of them and asked her what her favorite song was. This was it. So now every day I listen to this song and think of them. I know that’s really cheesy and all but good lord I miss them.
