She has gotten so much better than she was when we first heard her on idol! And she was great then! Love her voice and the people that rated this album super low are super dumb

Man….its amazing how “likability” plays such a deciding factor in music. She used to be my favorite but she’s just spiraled downwards in that department for me, can’t put my finger on it :/

This album was originally released last year, in 2022, and contained only seven tracks. After it flopped miserably, Foster has apparently added a few more songs and rereleased it. The entire album, however, contains all of the same Christmas songs that you’ll find on any other generic Christmas album, with the exception of one original song which was added this year to this updated collection. Foster uses virtually the exact same arrangement for “Grown-Up Christmas List” that he used on 1993’s “The Christmas Album” featuring Natalie Cole — and McPhee’s voice doesn’t remotely compare to Cole’s voice, nor does it even compare to Kelly Clarkson’s version of this song. I’m assuming Foster included this track on the album to earn some extra $$ because he wrote it. The remainder of the songs, as well as this updated version of the album, will again quickly float into oblivion, like McPhee’s initial foray into the Christmas genre: 2010’s insanely forgettable album “Christmas Is The Time To Say I Love You” which sold a miserable 23,000 units.

Liiks like she married the right one and will never have to do anything to release an album!! It is so sad because she really had a natural talent! i guess it reallly is who you sleep with!!!
