This cover is amazingly beautiful, a track for people who love country AND those of us who aren’t country fans but can appreciate impeccable guitar-playing. The vocals are on point, the guitar is inspiring, and the feeling of the piece comes through in every note. I wish he’d recorded it on a non-pickup’ed acoustic for true acoustic sound because the man SLAYS on an acoustic, but this is still a winner. Download it and don’t look back.
