He's an inspiration in so many ways. From his beautiful performing to his confidence inspiring personality, he never fails to make me feel good about myself. Love you John! This album is a masterpiece and a must have for fans of Barrowman or of broadway.

I don't know why but I was definitely surprised to know John sang. I saw him first in Doctor Who then I found out he was in Torchwood and now Broadway. Busy guy. I am, by no means of the imagination, a Broadway fan but I had to get "Dreamers". He has a fantastic, clear voice and is easy to understand when singing (something I value very highly). I would recommend looking up "John Barrowman and David Tennant singing Doctor Who theme". Downright hystrical! One last thing: John looks like my dad:)

Oh. My. God. The first time I saw him was in doctor who. The first time I heard him sing was when I googled "captain jack singing, doctor who" and got a "the doctor and I". I want this entire album. It is fantastic. I have so much respect for this guy... Just Wow.

I, like many others, was amazed to hear his musical talent and I can honestly say it isn't because of who he is on the tele. There's a reason why west end picked him up sooo many years ago when he was young, it's because he really has a gift. Perfect tone and pitch, it's amazing. iTunes truly needs to put his other CDs on here :)

I never imagined that John could sing, but oh my he can SING!! His voice reminds me a bit of John Denver, especially when he sings "Dreamers"

Like others here, I first saw John Barrowman as Jack in Doctor Who, and of course fell in love with his good looks and witty personality. =) And then it turns out he can SING! And he sings BROADWAY! Holy Liza Minelli! With his voice like honey, his renditions of these Broadway classics make my heart melt every time I listen to him. Well worth $10!

A consistently outstanding representation of musical, male roles from Broadway shows. John Barrowman's voice is clear, resonant and passionate in each song. A great musical experience, whether you have heard of the show or not.

lec10stein, he never hides his Scottish roots. He was born in Glasgow but raised in the US, which is why his accent shifts between the two. Fabulous album. A very good mix of songs which really show John's range and versatility. Love it!
  • I love all of these shows
