The Very Best of Phoebe Snow

This cd is certainly generous clocking in at 70 minutes and contains the best mastered sound of Phoebe’s work. One song is missing to make this disc absolutely complete and there’s room for it, “If I Can Just Get Through The Night” from her Elektra “Something Real” cd. Great song and it was a modest hit. Phoebe was the voice of Folgers Coffee and how novel it would’ve been to include that jingle here. Still, great cd and the price is right.

This album is good but when is iTunes gonna get her album Against The Grain that came out in 1978? I thought by now you guys would have it. Very nice album by Phoebe and hope to see it soon.

Phoebe Snow was a huge talent who made ultimate success of continued success to care for her daughter. I hold her in my heart and mind forever and look forward to listening to her sweet, sultry voice on the other side. Rest In Peace!!! I will miss you and your beautiful soul my dear lady.

What a great loss. One of the best voices of the 20th century. Unfortunately, she never enjoyed the success she deserved. I love this album, though I get choked up every time now. It was the sountrack of my dorm! RIP to a brand new angel.
