I had to go to different albums to buy certain songs that were on this album do to a mixup of titles. For someone who is not familiar with several of these songs would possible purchase them under wrong titles. Could really cause some confusion! Unsure who the mixup came from, iTunes or the cd company. Just be cautious!

I downloaded "Some day my day will come" and it downloaded "The Battle". The 2 songs are mislabeled.

One of the best country albums ever, and probably the best post-Hank Williams country album!
It has the best of George's "middle years" on Epic, the ballads are the best. One of the best voices in country music.
I'm not into country music anymore, but I consider this one of my favorite albums of all time.
numbering and song titles are off beginning with "her name is"

for some reason, song titles don't match the actual track on the album starting with "her name is" (track #7) through "the battle" (track #16). hopefully, i tunes will correct this.
besides that, one of george's best albums ever.
Best George Jones Album that I Know of

This is the Best G. Jones CD that I have ever seen. It has a generos 22 songs and virtually every one is excellent. Jones was at the height of his vocal powers when he recorded these songs, and Billy Sherrill's production brings out the best of Jones. I have several other Jones albums, but none come close to this.
