I have been listening to Light the Sky forever and it's just like the best song ever written hands down.

I heard this cd a few years ago and fell in love with it's sensuality... The female voices definitely create a synergy that's makes you feel climatic when you listen to it.

  • Relaxing music that sometimes wears thin.

I enjoyed this album when I first obtained it, but after repeated listens I got tired of it. That's not usually a good sign, however, after taking a "break" I returned for another try and it is growing on me again. So, don't dismiss it if it's not immediately "your thing" -- it is a refreshing change from today's pop music, with a more mature sound. It provides a nice ambience for relaxing or even a romantic dinner for two. My favorite track is "All Would Envy" which features vocals from my favorite all-time female performer, Shawn Colvin.

By fluke I purchased this CD 5 years ago and it has become a "classic " in my collection.

The first time I saw Chris Botti, it was on some cheesy morning talk program. I dismissed him out of hand. Then someone played this album for me and I seriously wondered whether this was the same person or not. The music on this album is perfect for the night time - cooler, quieter, yet at the same time with a raw energy. Surrounded by some great musicians and vocalists, Night Sessions paints the perfect picture for a quiet night with a special person. By far, the Sting-composed "Interlude/All Would Envy" is the most compelling track, but "Lisa" and "You Move Me" get stuck in your head. A winner of an album.
