La Niña

I first heard this music, particularly 'de boca en boca,' while driving from Rota to Madrid. It was a very popular single at the time and was being played a lot on the radio. I was frantically trying to find out who sang it and finally figured it out. Niña Pastori is revered in Spain. The music on this album has some amazing pieces of modern Spanish (Spainish) sounds. This flamenco style sound only comes from Spain. Western style Latin music is nice, but this blows all the others away. This is a great place to start exploring Spain through the music. Others to try: Estopa, Elbicho, José Mercé, Ojos de Brujo, Cambao, Oreja de Van Gough.
