You have your hand out but you're not getting my respect. It seems an attempt to squeeze an album out by adding one song. A western classic singer, disappointing.

Where is Justified and Ancient? Why is the "Partial Album" from here 25th Anniversary collection on here? Why can't we get the original Justified and Ancient song with KLF and Tammy Wynette?

For those looking for the single "Justified and Ancient", the real song title is "Stand By the Jam" by The KLF and can be downloaded.
You CAN buy "Justified and Ancient" - it's called Stand by the Jams

I'm one of the huge whiners who has been coming to this album every few months for years hoping to purchase Justified and Ancient. To cut to the chase, you CAN buy it on iTunes... but it's actually called Stand by the Jams by the KLF. Just look up that song. This is really super annoying because even in the album description of this Tammy Wynette anthology provided by iTunes it mentions Justified and Ancient. It used to be part of this album, but was the ONLY song you couldn't purchase individually... you had to purchase the entire album. Now, it's not even part of this album, apparently, but you can download it as "Stand by the Jams". ANYWAY - Tammy Wynette is a musical treasure so I have upped my star rating to 5 stars to reflect this happy resolution.
HELOO...? I need to be "Justified"

After spending...oh, 25 minuites, I realize that I entered the twilight zone, all while looking for "Justified and Ancient". Good grief! Would you just make the song available!? and I thought I was the only one looking for this song..BTW, Tammy is great, but I'm not a personal fan of all her music. Please, give us the song?

This ia a great collection of Tammy Wynette songs. Covers the span of her career. All the people moaning about Justified and Ancient don't have a clue. The song she did with KLF was Stand by the Jams. This can easily be found on a search of KLF. The 30 second preview even features Tammy! Get over yourself!
5 Stars--Justified to Shut Up the Whiners

This is mainly directed at the (obviously waaaay underage) poster going by "BryteEyez" who posted in July 2010. I can assure you that Tammy does NOT "needs the sells" because, unfortunately, Tammy died in 1998. Tammy was a legend whose career transcended her partnership with the KLF and this collection is more than an illustrious tribute to that career. (It might surprise many of the lamebrains who've disparaged the album because they can't get one single song that presumably is their only exposure to Ms Wynette but the only reason that Tammy even appeared on that song was because the KLF truly admired Tammy's career. It is genuinely amazing that musicians tend to have more respect for the greats of music than the fans of those selfsame musicians.)
I also wish that all these morons who can't do anything but post negative reviews because they can't get the one or two songs and then blame Apple/iTunes for the "album only" deals or for when a song or songs are missing from an album would realize that Apple/iTunes can only offer songs that the record labels are willing to provide. There's a thing called "licensing" that often prevents songs (especially on movie soundtracks) from being available for individual sale; the labels which have licensed songs for a soundtrack may not have the contractual rights to let a particular song be released for individual sale (along the same lines, the licensing fee might even require the label to pay a certain amount for that song, regardless of format--meaning a label sells a physical CD of 12 songs for $14.99 with one of the songs being a licensed track and the other songs "belong" to the label itself, so the label has to pay perhaps $2.99 per album sold for that one track; I can only imagine the outrage that would result if iTunes charged $2.99 for one song). In addition to licensing issues by the labels, there's also issues involving the artists themselves. Perhaps, the KLF are the ones that "needs the sales" and want people to download the song from THEIR album/s. (After all, iTunes--at the time of this review--is lacking most of Kid Rock's songs because he wants iTunes to charge people more than $1.29 for his songs, and almost the whole of Bob Seger's catalog is missing from iTunes as is Glenn Frey's; of course, in Frey's case, unless you happen to own his first solo album, it's almost impossible to get the studio/hit versions of "I Found Somebody" and "The One You Love.")
Tammy is a TRUE legend, not only of country music, but music in general. And it's really disheartening to read so many negative reviews given because there's a bunch of whiney halfwits who only want one particular song and don't have the smarts to figure out where they might can get it elsewhere on iTunes.
"Justified and Ancient" - WRONG TITLE!! Look for...

The KLF's White Room. The track's correct title is "Stand By Jams." iTunes has the 12 inch LP version. I should know; I have both!!

Really? Really? I totally agree with the comments below. I remember this song so well in the 1990s. Really should work on getting it released. I am so disappointed by this.
