This is the best remix album I have ever listened to! I'm not just saying this because I'm the biggest DC fan that I know; but that they not only scored on production, but they actually used creativity to make the songs different pieces entirely rather than just putting in club beats like many artists do. No, No, No Pt. 2 is way back from their self-titled debut and is totally club ready. Emotion has some very beautiful vocals, beautiful in a different way than the original. I'm not a hundred percent positive when I say this; but I think I like this remix better; it's just cooler to listen to. The lyrics in Say My Name were totally stripped down and changed up. The beat is very unique, and the vocals are all on point. Bug a Boo remix is another one that I prefer to the original; the lyrics were changed and seemed more mature and the beats are hot. The remix to Dot is also better, it is more relevant to the angry feeling of the song. Survivor sounds the same but features Da Brat, who is just amazing. Independent Women, Pt. 2 is the second half of the very popular Pt. 1. I think they both are a must-have, because each are enjoyable in different ways. Nasty Girl has a better beat than the original, and it almost makes the vocals stand out better. Jumpin', Jumpin' has Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat, and Lil Bow Wow in it. Bills, Bills, Bills remix was never one of my favorites; I always preferred the original, but this is a good dance remix and I think I finally like it. So Good remix is absolutely genius; one of the standout tracks on here, and better than the original by far. The intro and then Beyonce bursting on the scene is spectacular, and the beats are groovy. Heard a Word was a preview for Michelle's debut album, Heart to Yours, which was the first Destiny's Child solo member debut. Overall, this album was obviously very well-thought out, not just thrown together. I believe that everything this group does is perfect.
