  • Great choir, but can't stand the new Mass compositions

    Chanticleer sings very beautiful, and I like their sound. I love all of the old renaissance choral music on this album, but I find the Mass compositions to be disturbing and disappointing (Ravenna Sanctus and the Agnus Dei possibly excepted). Buy the Da Pacem pieces and the old Renaissance music, but forget the new stuff. It is not worthy to be in the same album.

    Good music to study to peaceful and clam. The music also can make you feel like you are in the movie gladiator walking through the wheat fields.
