this music makes me feel like I'm suspended in mid air. This would be a great addition to my ipod. Good travelling music, guys!
  • A perfect companion to an already stunning catalog.

Well crafted, and a good impression of The Album Leaf's range. Though this EP bids farewell to the low-fidelity sound of their earlier recordings it more than makes up for it in precision. Fans of "Into the Blue Again" will thoroughly enjoy, highlights include: We Need Help, Enchanted Hill, and San Simeon (if you're just looking for a couple of tracks, you could do without Kevlar).

I had the pleasure of purchasing this at one of their shows at a small local venue here in Orlando and these new songs are wonderful. People who don't like this kind of music won't like it but that goes without saying. My favorite song out of the six is "Drawing mountains" which is a beautiful blend of the acoustic sound that The Album Leaf tend to dabble in at least once an album and their usual electronic stylings. Also worth mentioning is "San Simeon" which the band played live at the show I attended, it is a wonderfully catchy little song that showcases the beautiful and unique sound of the Rhodes electric piano. Definitely check it out if you like experimental ambient electronica.

This is another great EP from Jimmy and co. It goes great with the Red Tour Ep. The cd version is enhanced and has a video on it. Hooray.

The Album Leaf is amazing at what they do and this album is certainly no exception. It is a must have for anyone who loves the band, and in my opinion any Mogwai, & Sigur Ros Fan should give it a listen as well.

It's the subtle changes in his music that allow him to keep producing great songs that stay locked in the same genre. The fact that he can make so many great variations on the style he is known for is what makes his music so great. This album is a great follow up to into the blue again.

    J. LaVelle is a horrible songwriter. This is only a good album if you are listening to him for the first time. Listen to the other albums and you will see that he has no true skills, just the ability to reuse loops and long notes. Grow up James!
  • Amazingly Calming

This EP just calms you down for a soothing sleep right after you listen to it. I just luv this because a lot of music these days are all about screaming and shouting and swearing. This EP just calms you down and makes you feel at home anywhere.
