In comparison to his older work this cd falls flat. And at one point, I could have sworn he was taking himself seriously. I hope his next effort doesn't fall into cliche (Future calls the dawn, is a good reference point), but I will have to browse the demo tracks instead of trusting my gut.
Such a shame.

wow this a very good album for DA CAT. You really need to just give it heart it a aquired taste that seriously makes you go wolf wolf ya dig. Its very soulful, funky, retro, and electro! You can slap this on and get your GROOVe on from the get go. So if u like FEliX you will mos defenetly love VIRGO BLACKTRO AND THE MOVEI DISCO

Don't think this album is as good as Kittenz and the Glitz? Just listen to Janet Jackson's new single from her upcoming album. Felix's sound is all over that new single from the vocoder effects on the vocal to the synth pop melody. The Jacksons know good pop music. This album is sick. Buy it and support the underground dance scene. Pop goes underground...or is it underground goes pop? Hip hop may be sagging in sales, but black music is alive and well!

I'm glad Felix was not afraid to show his obvious broad taste and influences a few years back and left his house music past behind him. This album is great, fun, and proof that some artists are in it for the art. Keep it up Felix!
