Cyrus Plays Elvis is an entertaining and charming release. He imaginatively recasts Elvis' songbook into the jazz tradition. I would strongly recommend this for people who are new to jazz. It's feel good music!!

Cyrus can play just about anything and he must be an Elvis fan. This is a great listen for some great favorites. I love hearing that Jazz style brought to pop standards. For me Cyrus can't do wrong. A gifted soul.
  • In The Ghetto?

A jazz version of In The Ghetto and other pop schlock from the Elvis song book was absolutely unnecessary. I guarantee there are at least 15 other major releases on the Jazz front page right now that need your attention over this.

A gifted pianist who has officially decided to allow the marketplace to dictate the direction of his muscal career and creative output. Depressing and a waste of time.
