I forgot to add: This album sounds as though they took the original Amy, tracks, pared them down, and used a synthesized trumpet in place of her voice. Additionally, Tribute took no creative liberties whatsoever, making for a lazy, unimaginative collection of otherwise amazing songs.

The woman is a lifestyle! See YouTube and Perez Hilton's tributes. That voice and rhythm...

Amy's record is one of the most beautiful pieces of work I've heard in a very long time. This treatment is just awful. I actually like smooth jazz. I make my living in that world as a musician. These records are the very reason critics and hard core music lovers hate this music. It makes us all seem like elevator jockey's who specialize in making those recordings for dentist offices. In the immortal words of Charlie Brown..."UUGGHHH!!!!!!"

I agree that it doesn't quite capture the soul that Amy puts into it-but sometimes instrumentation depicts what words can't say.

You have got to be kidding me.Every bit of soul that Amy's songs have have been sucked dry in this amateur sounding recording. There must be some desperate people out there who are not getting their fill of good music if they are buying this drivel. This even gives Smooth jazz a bad name

Being a fan of Amy Winehouse herself, a jazz tribute sounded good so we could get a break from the singing and just hear the background. This album is good and includes the best hits of Mrs. Winehouse.
