Mystery Girl is probably my favorite album by Roy. It's such a shame he didn't live to see the album become a success but at least his fans and family got to hear it. My favorite track of Mystery Girl is probably "The Only One".

In my mind this is the greatest album ever made. Hands down. It's been apart of my life since I was a boy and I love it just as much now as the day I first heard it! Roy Orbison was amazing, simple as that.

Roy Orbison remains arguably the greatest voice in pop music, though there was a large span in his career where his choice of material did not do him justice. On this album, he shines on many tracks, his operatic voice still in fine form. My favorite is the overlooked "The Comedians", which Elvis Costello said he wrote with Roy Orbison in mind years earlier. Elvis, whose own version of the song is quite good, generously says that only Roy sang it the way it was meant to be sung. Interestingly, Roy Orbison was also considered the 'greatest living singer' by another Elvis - Presley. When you have those kind of endorsements, enough said.

Singers of this generation (50's early early 60's) can be pretty bad when they get older, not the case with Roy Orbison. this album is fantastic, I personally enjoy all but the last song. this album is a great addition to any music collection. the soft yet at times poppy style is great for anyone who likes pop, classic rock'n' roll, some songs are even remotely similiar to Radiohead (if you like that kind of stuff) I highly reccomend this album.

I didn't know who Roy Orbison was when I first heard the song You Got It playing on the radio, back when i was in high school. Roy had just passed away and here was this song, that every time I heard it, demanded my attention. I wasn't much into music, that is, until I heard THAT VOICE. Uncharacteristically for me, at the time, I had to go and purchase the whole album (a cassette tape, remember those?) and listened to it on my Walkman (remember those?) while driving. I still remember the feeling I had the first time I listened... I was entranced. Of course, the first song on the tape was You Got It... expectedly, it was great. Now, was the rest of the album gonna be any good or had I just wasted my hard earned $15? The next song was In The Real World and, just seconds into it, I realized that I had found something truly special. The entire album was and IS fantastic. As good as You Got It is, most of the songs on this album are even better. It's a shame that so few know about it. Don't let yourself be one of them... get it.

I even rank it equal to his big hits from the early days. The sound quality is exceptional. Long live the Big O!

I purchased one song from Itunes. Poor quality recording. Listened to a preview of another tune & it also was poor quality. Unable to contact Itunes by internet to lodge the complaint.
