    Indian classical music allows a great degree of "personalization" of the performance. Each performance of a raga is different. The goal of the raga is to allow the listener to experience a mood of ecstasy. Indian ragas are not "composed" by a composer, but have evolved over the centuries. There is incredible depth and meaning behind each note, within its beauty and complexity, Indian raga simply translates a universal idea into the language of the heart. Classical Indian Flute is the instrument of the heart, conveying all the emotions, the ups and downs, the joy, the drama, the life in living. This album evokes this sentiment beautifully and communicates with the listener in a very personal level.

Volume II comes with more of the exquisite music from the first series, a personal favorite. The flute and violin solos reach a very special place in the heart. It only keeps getting better and better!!! Highly recommend both Volumes I and II,

    I am so happy when I say this CD come out. I am a fan of Vol I and I can attest this I love this one also. The tracks are longer, the production value is very good and the instruments are played with such beautiful feeling. And needless to say the whole thing is VERY relaxing. Congrats!
